Director's Letter:
Esteemed Delegates,
Welcome to the Greek Mythology crisis committee! I am very excited to see all of you at this year’s McKennaMUN! My name is Tom Inouye (he/him) and I’m a first-year International Relations student with a sequence in Human Rights, Genocide, and Holocaust Studies. I competed in Model UN throughout highschool and in my short time in college.
It is my great pleasure to be your Director for this committee, and I am so excited to see you all bringing talent more impressive than the gods. This committee will have both some historical and some fantastical elements. As such, I’m looking forward to hearing engaging debates, creative solutions to crisis updates, and innovative crisis arcs. I hope this will be a fun, interactive, and informative experience for all as you explore the world of Greek mythology, the ancient world, and divine relationships!
I am confident that each one of you will find your own unique way around the committee to achieve your individual and collective goals. In the meantime, feel free to contact the chair with your inquiries, and I look forward to seeing how we can add new twists to the legendary myths of ancient Greece!
Sincerely,
Tom Inouye
Director, Gods of Olympus
