Empowering and Protecting Female Refugees

The UNHCR, or the UN Refugee Agency,  works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution or war at home. This committee will focus on the policies and issues impacting women refugees, specifically using the Yemeni Civil War as a case study. From accessing to healthcare to avoiding exploitation and abuse, delegates should be prepared to engage thoughtfully and productively on a number of sensitive issues related to international conflict, displacement, and gender equality.
