LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY GENERAL

Dear Model United Nations Delegates and Advisors,

My name is Brianna Roldan, and it is my honor and privilege to serve as your Secretary General for Claremont McKenna College's ninth annual McKenna Model United Nations Conference. 

McKennaMUN is excited to announce that we are scheduled tentatively for an in-person conference the weekend of April 9-10th, 2022.

We look forward to a weekend of engaging dialogue and relevant discourse, and our staff is already beginning preparations to ensure committees are able to operate with the highest quality of debate. At McKennaMUN, we hope to facilitate an environment where all delegates not only feel welcome, but are challenged to think about how they can solve some of the most pressing issues facing the international community today. We are excited to see delegates grow as thinkers, speakers, and the leaders of tomorrow, as they engage with these topics.

As usual, McKennaMUN VIII will have three distinct types of committees: General Assemblies, Specialized, and Crisis. More information regarding how these different committees function and what topics are being offered can be found on the "Committees" page of the McKennaMUN website.
